Right in the heart of Paris, on the border of the Marais and Beaubourg districts, we’re invited to climb up there, above the rooftops. After passing through this magnificent apartment, freshly renovated by a local architect and designer, we arrive at this charming little Belvedere, where magic happens every season.
Although only 30m2 in size, the terrace offers a haven of relaxation and a convivial space for sharing wonderful moments with family and friends, day and night.
In the spirit of lounging, our design architects came up with the idea of creating a raised wooden platform. A clever way to optimize space, hide technical installations and enhance the aesthetics of the site. This was precisely the ingenious and original response to the challenge we were given.
On one side, a lounge area bathed in light with ultra-comfortable deckchairs and mattresses, an outdoor sofa in grey Eichholtz Residenzia fabric, two modern marble tabletops and pots by Atelier Vierkant housing succulents, a beautiful Acer Palmatum or Japanese Maple and Phormiums. On the other side, open to the sky, an inlaid Spa invites us to contemplate the Parisian Skyline, immersed up to our chests, a glass in hand. Playing with perspectives, a large mirror prolongs the feeling of space and offers a shower to refresh after sunbathing. Isn’t it idyllic?
Now let’s go downstairs. Surrounded by plants, a Japanese white pine and a Japanese maple, the terrace is designed for
entertaining and enjoying the summer atmosphere. In the background, a monumental plant wall and its sleek Sigmafocus FOCUS Barbecue, both aesthetically pleasing and designer in any position.
In the center, sturdy, contemporary furniture from our partner EGO Paris is complemented by a black and gold HEATSAIL dome. Both heating and lighting, it makes it possible to enjoy good food al fresco, even when it’s cold outside.
A luxuriant escape, synonymous with elegance and exclusivity, this roof terrace is an example of an exceptional metamorphosis that testifies to the expertise of Terrasse et Jardin de Paris. And what if the magic could work in your home too?
