The main objective was to conceal the sandblasted glass wall facing the apartment. The aim was also to create several distinct spaces: a breakfast area, a rest area with deckchairs on the sunbathing side, and a convivial area for entertaining.
One of the main challenges of this project was a sandblasted glass wall that enclosed the space and obstructed perspectives. To breathe new life into this terrace, we opened up the views on both sides, revealing and sublimating each perspective. One part of the terrace was preserved in its original state, while the other was transformed by the installation of Millboard composite wood.
Pots by Atelier Vierkant, harmoniously arranged, provide a subtle rhythm, creating a play of movement at the heart of the terrace. A delicate wave of wooden screens by Laméo structures the space while filtering light and providing light shade, without requiring maintenance.
Carefully selected shrubs and an elegant parasol complete the soothing atmosphere, where every detail invites contemplation and serenity. The project has created four distinct spaces, while preserving views from both sides. Finally, a triangular delimitation was imagined to break the rectangular rigidity of the terrace, adding a touch of fluidity and harmony.

A word from the project manager
« The major challenge of this project was the construction of a claustra wall, a solution that harmoniously separated the different spaces and gave them their own identity. »
