A steeply sloping site, offering an unusual challenge, enclosing an underutilized garden on the hills of Chaville. The aim was to design an open-air kitchen area with two practical, functional gardens and a bioclimatic pergola to optimize outdoor living moments.
Imagine yourself in this wonderful place, where every element has been carefully orchestrated to create a magical experience. To conceal the wall opposite the living room, a mirror has been added, acting as a window onto a lush world, reflecting the surrounding vegetation and changing sky, bringing a touch of poetry to the space.
The sloping ground has been transformed into two distinct levels, each with its own identity. On one side, a space for dining and adults, designed for relaxation and exchange. On the other, a realm for the youngest, with an inviting and stimulating play area. Yet despite these differences, these two worlds are linked by an invisible thread, allowing adults to stay connected while sharing precious moments with children. The cushions are by Kettal, the furniture is by Ego Paris, the pergola is by Concept Alu, a blue Domani pot has been added to echo the colors of the living room carpet and create a link between indoors and outdoors, and the outdoor kitchen is by Eno.
Finally, to delicately mark the boundaries of this paradise, a magnificent fifty-year-old olive tree stands proudly, gracefully concealing the kitchen window and inviting you to immerse yourself in this enchanting world.

A word from
the architect
« Working on the levels so that the garden spaces can be used by adults and children alike. The construction of the staircase embedded in the earth was a real challenge for me. »
